COMPUTER SUPPORT TECHNICIAN Coleman Professional Services, a nationally recognized not-for-profit provider of behavioral health and rehabilitation programs, is seeking an individual to provide computer and tele-psychiatry support.
Computer support tasks include: Provide technical assistance to computer system users on-site, via phone, or via email.
Investigate and resolve users' computer software and hardware problems through asking questions and solving issues that may not have a clear solution.
Maintain and repair computer equipment and soft- ware to ensure secure and efficient operations.
Complete all assigned work orders according to IT customer service specifications.
Travel to other Coleman locations to perform on-site computer support responsibilities.
Configure new computers with software and periph- eral devices for distribution to staff, and retrieve and recycle old systems.
Assist and teach staff how to use computers correctly.
Escalate issues as needed to the IT department team and the Vice President and Chief Officer, In formation Technology, Operations, and Rental Man- agement.
Tele-psychiatry tasks include: Respond to and troubleshoot user problems and procedural questions for Tele-psychiatry sessions.
Manage all requests for new hardware and software configurations for Tele-psychiatry startups.
Ensure proper data transmission quality and perfor- mance, and escalate as needed to resolve issues in a timely manner.
Qualified candidates must have a Bachelor's degree in a computer related field, at least 3 yrs experience with PC Networks, demonstrated experience as a computer technician or similar role, proven problem-solving skills, and effective communication skills.
